Admissions Process
Complete and submit interest acknowledgement form

Interview and visit with admissions team
- Once we have received your interest acknowledgement form, someone on our staff will contact you to schedule an interview.
- The interview will be conducted by the Head of School, Education Dean, and a representative of the Coaching staff and will include the prospective applicant and their guardian(s).
- The interview process includes a tour of the facilities, discussions of YSC Academy’s educational and athletic programs, and an assessment of whether the school/student are a good match.
- Prospective students will be asked to formally present a portfolio of work during this visit that best demonstrates their interests, strengths and passions across core subject areas. The portfolio should include a minimum of two pieces of work as well as the student’s most recent report card/transcript. The prospective student should be prepared to speak about their work and any other pertinent information regarding community service, passion for learning, and commitment to education and soccer.
Full application submission
- On completion of the interview phase, a full application package will be mailed to those candidates that appear to be a good fit for YSC Academy. This application includes a written essay component to be completed by the prospective student.
- Please review fees and tuition, as well as full financial aid and scholarship information, prior to submitting an application.
- The completed application, with all required supporting documentation, should be mailed to YSC Academy.
Scheduling of academic placement or a psychological testing
- Upon receipt of the full application package, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment should testing be recommended.
- Testing is purely formative and in place to provide further information on whether the school/student are an appropriate match.
Additional school visit
- At this stage, prospective students may, if desired, schedule a second school visit during which time they will have the opportunity to shadow a peer for the day. This will include a full, training session followed by participation in academic classes.
Admissions decision notification
- Once an admissions decision has been made on an application, a decision letter will be mailed that will include final instructions as necessary.
